AnchorPoint

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026.08.04.

In case of deviations or discrepancies between the German/Romanian and English versions of this policy, the English version shall prevail.

1. Who we are

AnchorPoint is operated by Tamas Flucsa Major, registered at Franz-Wolter-Str. 6, 81925 Munich, Germany(“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Contact: privacy@anchor-point.eu

2. The quiz and the data we collect

The Money Stress Quiz is a recreational self-reflection tool. It is not a medical, psychological, or diagnostic assessment, financial advice, or a creditworthiness assessment.

You can see your result without joining the launch list. If you voluntarily tick the signup checkbox, we send the following to our servers. We retain the first two items in our waitlist database:

  • Your email address.
  • Your overall proprietary score and four proprietary driver values: vision, anxiety, protocol, and decisions.
  • Your selected interface language. We use it transiently to localize the immediate signup confirmation and do not retain it in the waitlist database.

We do not store your individual answers. If you enter an optional first name, it is used only to personalise the result shown in your browser. The name is not sent to our servers or used in email.

The score and driver values are categories created by AnchorPoint for this quiz. They have no clinical or diagnostic meaning. We do not use them to diagnose, predict, or draw conclusions about your physical or mental health, financial position, creditworthiness, or eligibility for any product or service. We treat them as non-clinical self-reflection data.

We use your signup data to save your result and tailor the confirmation sent after signup and the single email sent when AnchorPoint launches. We do not ask for diagnoses, medical history, financial account information, income, assets, debts, or transaction data.

The result is calculated automatically from your selected answers using fixed scoring rules. It has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your launch-list data on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The checkbox starts unchecked, joining is optional, and you can withdraw before launch by emailing privacy@anchor-point.eu.

We process limited technical data for site security, abuse prevention, and error diagnosis on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. How long we keep your data

We retain launch-list data for no more than 24 months from signup, or until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Short-lived security and rate-limiting records are kept only for their operational purpose. Browser-storage periods are described in section 7.

5. Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party processors to operate the waitlist:

  • Cloudflare — website infrastructure, IP-based abuse prevention, and Turnstile bot protection. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — stores the email address, overall score, and four driver values in our waitlist database. Supabase Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — receives the email address, selected result category, and localized email content to deliver the signup confirmation and launch email. Resend Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry — error monitoring. It is configured to omit your email, first name, and raw answers; diagnostic events may contain technical request data and the submitted result category. Sentry Privacy Policy.
  • Axiom — operational logging. Logs may contain an IP address for abuse-prevention events and the submitted result category, but not your email, first name, or individual answers. Axiom Privacy Policy.

Some providers are based in the United States and may process data outside the EEA. Where required, international transfers use the provider's applicable GDPR transfer safeguards, such as an adequacy framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@anchor-point.eu. We will respond without undue delay and within one month. GDPR permits an extension of up to two further months for complex or numerous requests; if that happens, we will tell you within the first month.

7. Cookies and storage

This website does not use tracking cookies. We use browser storage for functional purposes only.

sessionStorage preserves your quiz progress and your result — including the name and email you entered — for the current browser tab. It is cleared when you close the tab or retake the quiz. If you join the launch list, the email and result data described in section 2 are sent to us; the optional first name is not.

localStoragestores your language preference and a pseudonymised (SHA-256 hashed) marker of your email address, so we can recognise a repeat submission from the same browser without storing the plain-text email there. Because the hash comes from a predictable input, we treat it as pseudonymous rather than anonymous. It remains in that browser until you clear the site's stored data and can only be removed from that browser by clearing its site data. AnchorPoint cannot remotely clear browser storage. If you join the launch list, the selected language is sent to localize the immediate signup confirmation but is not retained in the waitlist database.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Browser storage is used only for the functions described above and is not shared with advertisers.

8. Complaints

You may complain to the supervisory authority responsible for private organisations in Bavaria, the BayLDA, or to another authority available to you under GDPR.
